As is oftern the case with successful projects, the inspiration for the wave came from personal experience.
A distant school memory of the hypnotic effect of wave modulators in physics class.
Coupled with a college interest in Bridget riley op art and automata kinetic sculptures led to the concept of a fully moterised sculpture.
